My gf (26) is very into spiritual stuff, which is cool, but now she's convinced she accidentally left her 'spirit' in a specific rental cabin we stayed at last month. they says she's felt 'un-whole' ever since and wants to drive 6 hours back to get it.

i'm not kidding. my gf and i went on a little cabin trip about a month ago, it was really nice. but for the past few weeks she's been acting kinda spacey and out of it. i just figured it was work stress, but she sat me down last night and told me she thinks her spirit 'detached' and stayed behind at the airbnb. she says she remembers the exact moment it happened—she was meditating on the porch and felt 'too peaceful' and thinks when we packed up and left, her spirit just stayed there. she says that's why she feels so disconnected and 'like a stranger' in her own body. i was trying so hard to be supportive but also not laugh. i was like 'okay so... what do we do?' and she said, completely serious, 'we have to go back. i need to call it back to me.' the place is a 6-hour drive away. she wants to go this weekend. just drive there, stand on the porch of a rental we don't have rented anymore, and just... call for her spirit? i asked if she could just facetime the spirit or something. that did not go over well. now i'm the unsupportive bf and she's planning a solo spirit-retrieval mission.
