My boyfriend and his friends were doing a 'draft' of celebrity women and i'm so weirded out by the whole thing. It feels so disrespectful and objectifying and he doesn't get why i'm mad.

it's not even about me being jealous or insecure. it's the whole concept. like they're just sitting there, picking women apart based on their looks like they're choosing cuts of meat. it feels gross. i tried to explain that it's dehumanizing and he just said 'it's a fantasy draft, it's not real'. yeah no duh it's not real, but the way you talk about women is. he thinks i'm overreacting but i feel like this is a massive red flag about how he and his friends view women.
