We were watching some show where a character needed a kidney and my gf asked if i was an organ donor. i said no and she got legit mad at me. now she's been acting cold for a day.

ok so this is kinda blowing up in my face. we were just chilling, watching tv, and a storyline came up about a character needing an organ transplant. my girlfriend (25f) turns to me (26m) and asks 'you're an organ donor, right?'. i just said 'nah, not really my thing'. and her face just... changed. she went from 0 to 100, asking why not, saying it's the most selfish thing she's ever heard. i tried to explain that it's just my body and i don't like the idea of it. it's not a religious thing, it's not a conspiracy thing, i just don't want to. it feels weird to me. she kept pushing, saying 'so you'd let someone die just because you feel 'weird' about it?' and i was like... i guess? it's not like i'm *personally* letting them die, it's just a default choice i've made for myself. she said i have no empathy and that it reflects on my character. she went to bed angry and has barely spoken to me today, just one-word answers. am i actually a monster for this? it feels like a really personal decision and she's treating it like i just confessed to a crime.
