My girlfriend started a shared spreadsheet to track every single food item I 'borrow' from her side of the fridge.

We split groceries 50/50 but she says I eat her specific snacks and ingredients more than she eats mine. Instead of just talking about it she made a literal shared google doc to log my 'infractions'.
The full story
this is so unbelievably cringe i don't know where to start. my gf and i moved in together about six months ago. we agreed to split groceries down the middle, which has been fine. whatever the total is at the store, we just venmo half. easy. apparently not easy enough. last night she sat me down and said she feels like there's an 'imbalance' in our consumption. her words. she says i'm constantly grabbing her kombucha, or using the expensive cheese she bought for a specific recipe, or finishing the last of the cold brew she likes. i mean, yeah, maybe sometimes? but i always figured it evens out. i buy snacks too. she eats the chips i get, or uses the nice olive oil i bought. it's a shared kitchen. that's kinda how it works, right? so i'm expecting a normal conversation. maybe we decide to label a few things, or i agree to replace her kombucha next time i go to the store. no. instead, she opens her laptop and shares a google sheet with me. it has columns for 'Date', 'Item Consumed', 'Estimated Cost', and 'Notes'. she deadass told me 'from now on, when you eat something of mine, just log it here so we can true up at the end of the month.' i just stared at her. i thought she was making an elaborate joke. she was not. she had already pre-populated it with three things from this week, including 'half an avocado' for an estimated cost of $1.25. she said this is the only 'fair and data-driven way' to solve this without emotion. i feel like i'm living with a deranged project manager, not my girlfriend. it feels so passive-aggressive and robotic. i told her this is insane and i'm not participating in her little food audit, and now she's acting like i'm the one being unreasonable for refusing to be 'accountable'.

What people are saying
@gabeok — This isn't a relationship, it's a resource management audit and her passive-aggression is a major red flag.
@justnope — start logging the toilet paper you use on a separate tab
@xenakinda — Oh honey. This isn't about the avocado, it's about her feeling unheard or taken for granted. The spreadsheet is a bit much but it came from somewhere.
@karamaybe — I'm going to guess the 'infractions' are more frequent and more expensive than you're letting on.
@avasorta — Did you ever offer to replace the specific, more expensive things she buys?
