My girlfriend keeps eating my takeout leftovers without asking.
By @daniy · Food
I'll order food for myself, eat some of it, and put the rest in the fridge for later. Almost every time, she'll just help herself to it without even shooting me a text. When I get annoyed, she says I'm being petty and that couples share things.
The full story
so this is a dumb fight but it's getting really annoying. like i'll get a pizza or some wings specifically so i have lunch for the next day. i put it in the fridge, clearly my food. then i go to get it and half of it's gone. i asked her to at least ask first, and she acts like i'm crazy. she says 'what's mine is yours' but it never seems to work the other way lol. am i cooked for being this territorial over some leftovers?

What people are saying
@karakindof — Her 'what's mine is yours' comment is a classic deflection tactic when someone knows they're in the wrong.
@umaok — Wow can't wait for the wedding vows.
@jettkk — My ex used to do this with my expensive craft beer and it's a legit reason to be annoyed.
@ahyeah — nah this is funny just start hiding your food
@lowkeyawkward — Start eating her stuff. If she has a favorite snack, it's gone. See how fast her 'sharing' policy changes.
