My friend thinks eating half my dinner is fine if she calls it 'just a taste'.
By @xenakay · Food
We go out to eat, she orders a side salad, and I get something I actually want. Then she proceeds to eat like a third of my meal, one 'taste' at a time.
The full story
it happened again last night. she got a water and a small side of fries, and i ordered the buffalo chicken wrap i'd been thinking about all day. legit every two minutes she was like "omg can i have a bite" and then takes a huge chunk. by the end, i had like half a wrap left. i finally snapped and told her she needs to start paying for the food she actually eats, either by ordering it or sending me money for my half. she got super quiet and is now telling our other friends i embarrassed her and was being stingy. am i crazy? food is expensive.

@kirasorta — Her reaction is just a defense mechanism because she got called out on her mooching.
@reesee — my old roommate did this to me constantly i finally just started ordering things i knew she was allergic to
@abbyyy — Honey, it's not stingy to want to eat the meal you paid for. She's the one taking advantage, not the other way around.
@midconversation — u made it weird in public just buy two next time
