I am genuinely trying to be reasonable here. I meal prep for work and sometimes buy a more expensive item, like a fancy cheese or a specific dessert, just for me. But I'll go to get it and it's just gone. His argument is that we live together and share a life, so policing the fridge is weird and feels like roommate behavior, not a long-term couple. I've tried saying 'hey, I bought that for my lunch tomorrow,' but by then it's too late. I feel like my only option is to get a separate mini-fridge, which feels extreme. Is there a logical compromise I'm missing?
