My boyfriend is arguing that eating my leftovers isn't technically stealing. He just ate the expensive poke bowl I was saving for my lunch tomorrow. His argument is that because we live together, all fridge items are 'communal property' and i can't call 'dibs' on a shelf. i literally said 'don't eat my poke bowl' last night. am i crazy or is this a legit crime? it feels like a legit crime. he owes me $24 plus emotional damages. it's the principle of the thing.
