I used my girlfriend's 'decorative' soap and she's acting like I broke a family heirloom.
By @nicomm · Relationships
She has this seashell-shaped soap in the bathroom that's been there for months. I ran out of soap in the shower, so I used it. Now she's not talking to me.
The full story
The soap was in a little fancy dish by the sink. I figured it was just soap. Apparently it was a 'decorative soap' from a vacation she took years ago and I've 'ruined the memory'. I don't get it. It's soap. It's meant to be used. Now she's giving me the silent treatment and saying I don't respect her things. It feels like a massive overreaction over a two-dollar bar of soap that just sits there collecting dust.

@alsome — Why was there no usable soap in the shower to begin with?

@sophiee — A man's house should have soap he can use, period.
