I thought it would be funny to speak only in rhyme at home.
By @judemaybe · Relationships
I started this rhyming bit yesterday morning to mess with my girlfriend. At first she thought it was funny, but now she's getting genuinely annoyed and is giving me the silent treatment.
The full story
I don't know why I thought this was a good idea. I declared yesterday that for 24 hours, I would only speak in rhyme. 'I'd like some toast to eat, a coffee would be sweet.' That kind of stuff. It was hilarious for about an hour. Now my girlfriend is refusing to talk to me until I stop. they says it's impossible to have a real conversation. I think she's overreacting a little, but I also want her to talk to me again. I only have a few hours left on my self-imposed challenge. Should I just give it up?
