I thought hiding my boyfriend’s weird work snack was a harmless prank.
By @yarakay · Relationships
He eats the same exact protein bar every single day. I hid the box just to mess with him and now he's giving me the silent treatment like I committed a federal crime.
The full story
My boyfriend buys these gross-looking peanut butter oat bars in bulk. He eats one every single day at 10am on his break at the shop. I mean for the entire three years I've known him, it's the same routine. I just wanted to see what he'd do, so this morning I hid the box. He tore the kitchen apart looking for them. When I started laughing and pulled them out, he just stared at me, grabbed his keys, and left for work without saying a word. He's not responding to my texts. Am I crazy or is he overreacting? It was a dumb joke.

What people are saying
@paigey — nah this is funny you should replace them with a different bar that looks the same
@kelsey — You don't mess with another person's food, simple as that.
@coleyk — It was a silly prank, he's taking it way too seriously. I hope he realizes he's being a grump!
@reeseyk — My girlfriend eats a sleeve of saltines with hot sauce before bed every night and I wouldn't DARE get between her and that.
@brynnkay — Sounds like a routine that has nothing to do with the snack itself, and you just purposefully disrupted his one moment of stability.
