I think my boyfriend is trying to start a squirrel army on our apartment balcony.
By @milosorta · Relationships
He started leaving out peanuts to "build a relationship" with one squirrel. Now there's an entire colony of them fighting and screeching at our door from sunrise to sunset.
The full story
Ok so it started as a joke. My boyfriend (28) saw a squirrel, made some clicking noises, and dramatically announced "his name is Bartholomew and he has a message for me." I laughed. Then he started leaving little piles of unsalted peanuts on the balcony rail. At first it was one squirrel. Now it's an entire dynasty. They're here all the time. He thinks he's their king. He SWEARS he's learning their secrets but all I see is a carpet of peanut shells and a man who might be slowly turning into a Disney princess. Is this a weird red flag or am I being dramatic?
