i'm fully in the doghouse over a tiktok trend. i made one of those 'my boyfriend's beige flags' videos where you list their weird but harmless quirks. like it's not red flags, it's not even yellow flags, it's just... beige. so i made a little slideshow of his. things like: he eats pizza with a knife and fork, even the floppy takeout kind. he still uses the default ringtone that came with his phone. he prepares for a five-minute drive like he's planning a cross-country expedition (checks tire pressure, gets snacks). he says 'i'll let you go' at the end of every single phone call, even if i called him. i thought this was all just funny, normal-weird bf stuff. i showed it to him before i posted it and he got super quiet and then told me i was 'roasting him for content' and that it was embarrassing. he asked me not to post it. i feel like he's being way too sensitive, it's a joke that everyone on the internet is in on. now it's super awkward and i feel like i can't even scroll tiktok around him. was i being a jerk here?
