I have to hide my good snacks from my girlfriend.
By @dani · Relationships
If I buy something I'm really looking forward to, like a specific brand of jerky or fancy chips, I've started stashing it in my office. If I leave it in the pantry, she eats it all before I even get any.
The full story
It's a small thing, but it's becoming a pattern. She never buys her own, she just waits for me to stock up. Last week I bought a bag of expensive kettle-cooked chips and she finished the whole thing in one sitting while I was at work. I wasn't trying to be petty, so I just started keeping the stuff I really want in a drawer in my desk. She found my stash yesterday and called me selfish and weird for 'hiding food' in our own apartment. I feel like it's logical, but she's acting like I've committed a huge betrayal.

@niayy — She's an adult, she can buy her own snacks if she wants them! You're not selfish for wanting to enjoy the things you pay for.
