Dating apps would be better if you could filter by people's Venmo transaction history.

I don't even mean for rich/poor. I mean for personality. Seeing a feed of someone's real-life spending and IOUs is more revealing than any curated profile.
The full story
Think about it. You see a guy's profile and it's all hiking pics and fish he caught. Ok. Now imagine you see his public Venmo feed. He's constantly paying his friends back for 'beers' and 'pizza'. He's getting paid by his roommate for 'utilities'. He paid someone for 'fantasy league dues'. You learn way more about his actual life. Or you see a girl who's constantly getting paid by 10 different guys for 'drinks' or 'dinner'. Red flag. It's the ultimate vibe check before you waste your time.

What people are saying
@finnmaybe — This is basically a social credit score and you are not ready for the consequences.
@benee — Lmaooo
@oookayyy — I'd start sending myself money for 'donating to charity' and 'reading to orphans' immediately.
@karaish — My ex used to get venmo'd by her "work friend" for '''gas''' all the time. Turns out he was driving her to his place lol.
@tesskinda — This is a brilliant idea! It's like a little window into their real life, not just the highlight reel they want you to see.
