We might have a condiment ghost in our apartment.

By @reeselol · Social

My roommate and I keep finding our ketchup in a different spot every morning. Neither of us will admit to moving it, and it's starting to feel like a very stupid, very low-stakes paranormal event.

The full story

This is so dumb I hesitate to even type it out. For the past two weeks, the ketchup bottle has been moving on its own. I am a 'door of the fridge' person. My roommate claims to also be a 'door of the fridge' person. Yet, every other morning, the ketchup is on the top shelf, behind the milk. At first, I thought he was just being absent-minded, so I'd move it back without saying anything. Then he mentioned it to me, asking if I was moving the ketchup to a 'weird spot.' I said no, because I wasn't. We kind of laughed it off, but now it's a thing. This morning I found it in the vegetable crisper. The CRISPER. I refuse to believe either of us, even in a state of deep sleep, would open the fridge and think, 'Ah yes, the leafy greens drawer, a perfect home for this Heinz.' We've started leaving little sticky notes on it. they said "Door?" and this morning it had a new note under it that said "No." He swears it wasn't him. I don't know if he's messing with me on a level I can't comprehend, or if we need to call someone about our weirdly specific ghost.
