Using a 'work voice' on social media is cringe.

The full story
Is there anything more jarring than scrolling your feed and suddenly getting hit with someone's HR-approved corporate voice? I'm not talking about work-related content. I mean normal people posting about their life, their hobby, their food, whatever, but using the exact same upward inflection and careful, sanitized vocabulary they'd use in a quarterly review. It's so forced and inauthentic. Just talk like a person.
