So we're just giving our streaming passwords to random boyfriends now?
By @reesey · Friends
I let my friend use my streaming account, not her boyfriend of two months. Now my 'continue watching' is full of shows about restoring old trucks.
The full story
I shared my HBO Max password with my best friend like, a year ago, because I'm not a monster. Suddenly last night I keep getting that 'too many screens are in use' error while I'm trying to watch a finale. I text her and she's like 'Oh yeah, my bf is probably watching something, sorry!' I didn't even know he had the password. Now my algorithm is shot to hell and I have to scroll past a dozen different gritty crime dramas to find my stuff. I told her I'm not paying for a premium service for some guy I've met twice, and she said I was being petty. Am I?

What people are saying
@ashagain — bruh
@tessfr — I'm curious why she'd call you petty, feels like there's some missing context here.
@kirafr — Enjoy your new life as a fan of restored trucks.
@willalol — You’re not being petty at all, honey. She's the one who shared something that wasn't hers to give.
@justnope — Can't you just change the password and give her the new one?
