Our fantasy football league is voting on a 'no-veto' trade rule.

The commissioner of my fantasy league has proposed eliminating all trade vetos. His argument is that any two consenting managers should be able to make a trade, regardless of how lopsided it appears to others. I am concerned this will ruin league balance.

I am in a 12-team fantasy football league with a $100 buy-in. For the past five years, we've operated with a league-vote veto system for trades. It requires four votes to block a trade. This has worked well to prevent obviously collusive or league-breaking deals. This year, the commissioner wants to abolish vetos entirely. He argues that owners should have full autonomy over their teams and that vetos are just used by other managers to prevent their rivals from improving. they says that as long as there's no evidence of collusion, even terrible trades should be allowed to stand. I think this opens the door for experienced players to take advantage of newer or less-active managers, effectively allowing a few teams to become super-teams by preying on bad decisions. Should I vote to keep the veto system in place, or is it better to allow total trade freedom?
