Our apartment's secret agent game was a terrible idea.

My roommates and I started this dumb game where we give each other 'missions' to complete around the apartment. It was funny for a while, but one of my roommates is now taking it way too seriously and just broke my lamp.

so my two roommates and i were bored out of our minds last week and we started this stupid game we call 'apartment agent'. the rules are simple: we leave mission folders for each other with dumb tasks. at first it was hilarious, like 'mission: infiltrate the kitchen and replace the oreos with the off-brand version without anyone noticing.' or 'mission: plant a listening device (a sticky note) under the living room table.' but one of my roommates is taking it wayyy too seriously. he's started wearing all black and trying to army crawl down the hallway. his missions have gotten weirdly intense. yesterday his mission was 'secure the asset' which was literally just the last slice of pizza from the fridge. he put on fingerless gloves and tried to 'rappel' from the counter using a jump rope. he ended up knocking a whole gallon of milk onto the floor. tonight was the last straw tho. my mission for him was 'observe the target's nightly ritual' (me watching netflix). i thought he'd just like, peek from the hallway. instead, he tried to lower himself behind the couch with a bunch of belts tied together and ended up getting stuck and knocking over my favorite lamp. now he's mad at *me* for "compromising his mission" and the lamp is broken. i'm dying laughing but also like... should we call off the game before he breaks something else?
