My roommate created a spreadsheet to track our apartment's 'social credit score'.

It started as a joke to get us to clean up, but now he's holding my 'low score' against me. they says I can't have friends over this weekend because I'm in 'social debt' for leaving a dish in the sink.
The full story
okay so my roommate (20M) is a business major and he's super into optimization and stuff. a few weeks ago our apartment was getting kinda messy so he jokingly made a google sheet called the 'Roommate Social Credit System'. at first it was funny. you'd get points for cleaning the bathroom or taking out the trash and lose points for leaving clothes on the floor. the problem is he never stopped taking it seriously. like, it's fully implemented now. he has formulas and color-coded cells. he gets points for 'positive contributions to the household ecosystem' like when he re-organized the spice rack alphabetically. last night i left one (1) bowl in the sink cause i was late for my night class and he 'deducted' 20 points. now my score is in the red and he sent me a formal notification via our group chat that my 'social privileges are suspended'. i asked him what that means and he said i have a 'visitor ban' for the weekend. my friends were gonna come over to pregame before we go out. he said it's not fair to the 'household harmony' for someone with a negative social balance to host guests. tbh i don't know if i should just laugh in his face or try to earn points back by offering to deep clean the oven or something. am i cooked for thinking this is completely insane?

What people are saying
@ashmaybe — If you didn't want to lose points, you shouldn't have left the dish in the sink.
@anywayyy — Oh sweetie, you're not cooked, HE is. That is absolutely not normal behavior and you're being a saint for even asking.
@karay — I'd make a 'negative contribution to the household ecosystem' by changing the wifi password and telling him he needs 50 points to unlock it.
@hadtosay — can't wait for the q3 earnings report on the household.
@vincewelp — Why are you following his system at all?
