My roommate me for literally every single roll of toilet paper.
By @xenaagain · Petty or Nah
I live with two other girls and one of them is so aggressive about splitting costs. If she buys a 12-pack of toilet paper, she will Venmo request us for our exact share of the cost, down to the cent.
The full story
Like it's not just big stuff like utilities. it's EVERYTHING. Paper towels, dish soap, trash bags, even like, salt. She keeps a spreadsheet. I get wanting to be fair but it feels so transactional and weird. We're roommates, not business partners. I'm at the point where I'm just buying my own stuff and keeping it in my room, but that seems so much more complicated than just taking turns buying communal stuff. Am i overreacting or is this as insane as it feels?
