We have this dumb, unwritten rule that if you order the exact same food as someone, you have to buy the next round of drinks. Apparently my desire for buffalo wings was a costly violation.

My friend group has this insane unwritten rule where if you order the same exact dish as someone else at dinner, you're on the hook for the next round of drinks. Apparently, I'm the villain tonight for also wanting buffalo wings. Their whole argument is it 'limits the collective tasting experience.' It's the dumbest thing ever but they are 100% serious and now I'm waiting on the bill for a round I 'owe' them. I'm literally being fined for having good taste. Are all friend groups this weird?
