My fantasy league commish proposed a 'Girlfriend Veto' rule for trades.

By @jaredtbh · Sports

The new rule for our fantasy football league allows any trade to be blocked if two-thirds of the league members' girlfriends or wives agree it's unfair. I think this is insane, but half the league is voting for it.

The full story

Our fantasy football league commissioner just proposed a new rule for the upcoming season and I think he's lost his mind. He's calling it the 'WAGs Veto.' Any trade can be overturned if two-thirds of the girlfriends/wives in our group chat vote against it. His reasoning is that it will 'increase league engagement' and stop 'grossly unfair' trades. A few of the guys think it's hilarious and are all for it, saying it'll be funny drama. I'm arguing it completely ruins the integrity of the league. We're the ones managing our teams, not our girlfriends. This is a league with a pretty big buy-in, not just for fun. Am I being a sore sport or is this a league-quitting offense?
