My boyfriend's fantasy league is trying to make a rule against 'couple collusion'.

Apparently, since I'm also in the league, me trading with my boyfriend is 'unfair.' He's the commissioner and is actually considering it. I think it's ridiculous because my trades are solid and have nothing to do with our relationship.

We're in a 12-person fantasy football league with his friends. It's my second year and I'm doing pretty well. I just proposed a trade to my boyfriend (I get a star receiver, he gets a running back he desperately needs) and half the league chat immediately blew up saying it shouldn't be allowed. They're calling it 'couple collusion' and want him, as the commissioner, to veto it and create a rule that bans trades between us. He's actually entertaining the idea to 'keep the peace.' I feel like I'm being penalized just for being his girlfriend, even though the trade is objectively fair. I wouldn't have proposed it otherwise.
