Low-effort hangouts are completely superior to curated aesthetic plans.
By @remykay · Unpopular Opinion
My best friend insists every single weekend get-together needs a color scheme and a reservation. Casual, low-stakes chilling where nobody performs is undefeated.
The full story
My best friend is convinced that turning every minor milestone into an eight-person group chat itinerary is 'building community.' Look, I love her, but spending $90 on themed brunch drinks just to debrief an unremarkable Tuesday is exhausting. Some of us just want to sit on a couch in sweatpants without a calendar invite or an aesthetic dress code. Low-effort hanging out is an endangered art form.
