If a friend asks for your opinion on a baby name, you can say if you like it or not. You do not get to then suggest other names they should use instead. It's arrogant and oversteps a huge boundary.

A friend of mine is pregnant and she and her husband have a name picked out. they told me what it was, and I said it was nice. Then another girl in our friend group immediately goes "oh, that's okay, but what about [like 5 other names]??" My friend just got quiet. It's not a brainstorming session. The decision is made. It's like someone telling you they bought a house and you suggesting other, better houses they should have bought instead. It's rude, presumptive, and it needs to stop.
