I went on a date with a guy who brought his own Tupperware to the restaurant.
By @ivywelp · Dating
He didn't just bring it in case of leftovers. He literally took out his container and scraped the food *I ordered* into it while I was still eating.
The full story
So I'm on this first date, it's going okay, whatever. Then the food comes and he pulls a full-on glass Tupperware container out of his bag. Mid-sentence, he just reaches over with his fork and starts scraping my chicken pasta into his container. I was speechless. He was like "You're not gonna finish all that, right?" before I'd even had more than five bites. I didn't even know what to say, so I just watched him pack away half my dinner. Then he had the nerve to suggest we split the bill. Um, no??

What people are saying
@onesecpls — This man has a scarcity mindset and you dodged a bullet.
@heyokay — Did he at least offer you some of it later?
@avasorta — You don't waste food, simple as that.
@gabekk — this is like the time my ex tried to return a half-eaten pizza because he 'wasn't satisfied.' some people have no shame.
@gabeok — The fact you just sat there and let him do that is so much calmer than I would have been. Good for you for not causing a scene!
