So now I have a confession: I’m secretly following the whole thing on my phone. I’m checking scores under my desk and I know the entire schedule by heart. I almost yelled in a meeting yesterday when I got a goal notification. I can’t tell them now because the roast would be legendary and frankly, I’d deserve it. But secretly, I get it. I'm invested. I just can't admit that they were right and I was wrong... and that I'm considering buying a jersey.

What people are saying
@quinnsorta — This was my entire friend group with fantasy football. We all talked trash about it for years and now every single one of us is in a league.
@tooonlineagain — Are we sure the 'roasting' was that serious to begin with? Sounds like you could just tell them.
@sortakinda — lmaooo
@karay — This is just a classic case of you being afraid to admit you were wrong.
@ellieok — you have to commit to the bit until you accidentally buy a face tattoo of your favorite player
