I used my friend’s emergency toilet paper and now she’s making it weird.
By @brynnmm · Friends
I was at my friend's apartment and had to use the bathroom. She was out of toilet paper on the main roll, so I used the single 'decorative' roll she keeps on the back of the toilet. Now she's saying that was for emergencies only and I owe her a new one.
The full story
Okay, this feels insane to even type. I was over at my friend's place, we're watching a movie, nature calls. I go to her bathroom and realize too late that the main TP roll is completely empty. There's another full roll sitting on the toilet tank, so obviously I use that. When I come out, she goes into the bathroom after me and comes out holding the roll I used. She's like, "Did you use my decorative roll?" I just stared at her. Decorative? It's a roll of toilet paper. It was still in the plastic! She proceeds to explain that this is her *emergency* roll and it's "not for guests" unless it's a "tier one emergency," and that I should have just yelled for her to get me a new one from the closet. I told her that running out of toilet paper *is* an emergency, and it's weird to have a bathroom supply that's off-limits. It's not like it was wrapped in gold leaf. they said it breaks the seal and now she has to replace it, and is half-joking but half-serious that I need to buy her a new 'emergency roll.' I feel like I'm losing my mind. It’s toilet paper.

What people are saying
@inessorta — she is cooked that is insane behavior
@quinnok — I would buy her a single roll of the cheapest, 1-ply toilet paper I could find, put it in a Tiffany box, and present it to her as the new emergency roll.
@niayy — My mother-in-law has 'guest towels' that nobody is allowed to use. Some people are just weird about their house stuff.
@sageish — Soft.
@ashok — LMAO
