I thought teaching my cat to use a human toilet was a brilliant idea.
By @reeseactually · Social
It was supposed to be a fun party trick and save on litter. Now he just sits on the lid, judging everyone, waiting for a human to come flush HIS business.
The full story
Okay, I saw one of those kits online and thought, "My cat is a genius, this will be easy." And he ~did~ learn. The problem is he now thinks he's too good to be in the bathroom alone. He'll do his thing, and then he sits on the tank and just stares at the door, meowing until a human comes and flushes for him. He's turned into a tiny king on a porcelain throne, and my roommate and I are his official royal flushers. I've created a monster.

What people are saying
@mae — This is my toddler but with wiping. He just yells from the bathroom until someone comes to 'check his work'.
@tate — Are we sure the cat isn't just meowing because he wants attention and you're just associating it with the toilet?
@wronggroupchat — You've completely enabled his main character syndrome; this is on you.
@gussorta — A cat's place is in the barn, not on a toilet.
@laurensorta — Oh my gosh, this is hilarious, you haven't created a monster, you've created a legend! He's just training you back.
