Now we're breaking up our lease and they're suggesting we do a 'custody arrangement' for the golden retriever. Like, a literal weekly hand-off with a shared a place nearby Calendar.

We all agreed on the dog. A cute, dumb-as-a-rock golden retriever. Split the cost, split the food, split the vet bills. It was great for a year. Now, two of my three roommates are moving out and I'm staying. The dog, obviously, has to go with someone. They just proposed a shared custody plan like he's a human child. They want to do week-on, week-off, with a shared calendar for vet appointments and a group chat for 'co-parenting updates.' I can't believe this is a real conversation.
