I think my mail carrier has a crush on my dog.
By @hankactually · Social
He leaves a little treat on our porch every single day, even on days we don't have any mail. My dog now waits by the door for him around the same time every morning.
The full story
It's the highlight of my dog's day, and honestly, mine too. It started a few months ago with an occasional biscuit in the mailbox. Now it's a daily ritual. My dog, a golden retriever, will literally sit by the front window, tail wagging, from 10:30am until he sees the mail truck. If I have to take him on a walk around that time, he gets genuinely upset. It's just a small, kind thing, and it makes my whole day seeing how happy it makes my dog.

@kindofmaybe — My cat has a full-on feud with our delivery guy, this is way better.
@yeahno — Are you sure this isn't just a classic case of positive reinforcement to keep the dog from barking at him?
@sashakk — lmao
@umalately — The dog now has a favorite person and it's not you.
