I think I broke my husband's brain with a fake spoiler from our favorite show.

My husband and I have this dumb running joke where we 'spoil' our favorite show for each other with completely made-up nonsense. This time, I might have gone too far and accidentally predicted a real-ish plot point, and he's losing his mind.

The full story

So, my husband (34M) and I (32F) are huge nerds for this big fantasy show, 'Age of Dragons'. We're both caught up, but we love messing with each other. While he was grabbing snacks before the new episode tonight, I yelled, 'OMG, can't believe they had the guts to make the main character's horse the secret villain and have him get killed by a stampede of evil sheep!'. Totally stupid, right? Well. The episode starts. The main character is riding his horse. And then they're ambushed... not by sheep, but by a herd of possessed goats. GOATS. He looks at me, eyes wide, and just whispers 'how?'. I'm dying laughing, trying to explain it was a coincidence, but the goat thing was so close to the sheep thing that he's now convinced I secretly read episode leaks. He's genuinely upset, saying I 'ruined the sanctity of the viewing experience.' I told him he's being ridiculous and it's hilarious, but he's not talking to me. He's been pacing around the living room for an hour, replaying the goat scene and muttering about 'thematic parallels' to my sheep joke. Did my dumb joke go too far? Am I a monster for finding this so funny?
