I signed up for a 'couples' cooking class with my sister, not my boyfriend.

By @reesekinda · Petty or Nah

The class is this weekend and has a 'romantic' theme. My boyfriend (28M) found out and now thinks it's a 'weird' and 'deceptive' thing to do. My sister (26F) and I (29F) just wanted the discount and to learn how to make pasta.

The full story

My sister and I are huge foodies and we saw this ad for a fancy Italian cooking class. The problem is it was super expensive. But they had a 'couples discount' that was almost 50% off. We thought, 'we're a couple of sisters, that counts,' and signed up. Now my boyfriend is acting all weird about it. they said it's supposed to be for romantic partners and we're 'gaming the system' and making a mockery of it. I don't see the big deal at all, we just want to make some ravioli and save some money. they says I should cancel. Is this really that weird?
