I ate my roommate's leftover pizza and now she wants me to pay for the whole thing.
By @hankagain · Petty or Nah
I ate the last two slices of a pizza she'd ordered two days ago. I told her I'd Venmo her for the slices but she says I have to pay for the whole original pizza because she didn't get to finish it.
The full story
okay so this is so dumb but i need to know if i'm crazy. my roommate ordered a large pizza on friday night. it's been sitting in the fridge since then and it's now sunday afternoon. there were two slices left. i was studying for a midterm and starving and didn't have anything else to eat, so i ate them. i texted her right after and was like 'hey i ate the last two slices of your pizza, i'll venmo you for them!' and she went OFF. she's saying that because i ate the last slices, she didn't get to have the rest of her meal, so i 'ruined' it for her. now she's demanding i venmo her the full price of the entire pizza, which was like $28 with delivery and tip. i told her that's insane, the pizza was two days old and i'd pay for the portion i ate, maybe like $5-7, but not the whole thing. she's calling me a thief and saying it's the principle of the matter. i feel like she's just trying to get a free pizza out of me. thoughts??

@hankagain — nah tell her you'll pay for the whole thing if she buys you a new pizza lmao
@welpsame — lmaoooo
@lostthebet — Your roommate has some serious control issues if she's this mad about two-day-old pizza.
@brookeb — My old roommate threw away my entire batch of chili because it was 'making the fridge smell weird'. Some people are just insane about food.
@gussorta — Are you sure you haven't done this before? This feels like a last straw kind of reaction.
