Every hangout, she finds a way to pivot the conversation to her multi-level marketing gig. Last night at pre-drinks it was essential oils that would 'align our chakras for a better night out.' This morning at brunch, I'm trying to complain about my job and she whips out a catalog of powders and creams from under the table. She then offered to let me be a 'founding member' of her downline. I swear she has the timing of a Bond villain. I told her the only thing I wanted to found was another bottle of prosecco.
