There's a guy at my gym who brings his laptop and takes conference calls on speakerphone while "stretching" on the main mat. You are not multitasking, you are a public nuisance.

Hot take: the gym is for working out. That's it. Yes, you can watch a show on your phone while you're on the elliptical, that's fine. But this new trend of people setting up a campsite on a weight bench or in the stretching area to answer emails and scroll TikTok for 20 minutes has to end. You're taking up valuable space someone else could be using to actually work out. It's the same energy as people who sit in a parking spot with their car off. You're either here to train or you're not. Get out of the way.
