My roommate requested me for using a few of his ice cubes.
By @jaredlol · Petty or Nah
He's dead serious. He sent me a request for $1.00 for 'ice cube usage' because he says his ice trays are for his personal use only. i cant tell if this is petty or if i'm the one whos being a mooch.
The full story
so i have my own tray but it was empty and i was making a drink. his was full so i grabbed like 3-4 cubes. didn't think it was a big deal, we share everything else. but then i get the notification for $1.00 with the note 'ice tax'. i asked him if he was serious and he said yeah, the trays and the water to fill them aren't free. now it's just awkward. am i supposed to pay this? it feels insane but he won't let it go.
