My roommate puts exactly one cup of water in the coffee maker every morning.
By @judeforsure · Friends
He makes a single cup for himself and leaves the machine empty. I get up 30 minutes later and have to start a whole new pot before I can even think straight.
The full story
I've asked him to just make a full pot for both of us. His argument is that he only drinks one cup and doesn't want to be wasteful by making coffee that might get thrown out. I told him I'll drink it, that's the point of a shared appliance. Every morning it's the same thing. I get up for my shift, and there's just an empty pot and his used grounds in the filter. It's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but it feels inconsiderate. It's the first thing I have to deal with every day and it just grinds my gears.
