My roommate keeps making me food and pretending they didn't.

If he's making instant noodles or something, there's always a second little bowl on the counter for me when I get back from class. He never says a word and denies it if I ask.

The full story

i'm living with my roommate (21m) for the summer while we both take a few classes to get ahead. we're friendly and talk but we're not super close or anything, we mostly keep to ourselves. but a few weeks ago i came back from a late lab session and i was starving, and there was a fresh bowl of ramen on the counter. i texted him asking if it was for me and he just replied like "?? no?". but it keeps happening. if he makes popcorn to watch a movie, there's a second bowl on the coffee table. he made a whole box of mac and cheese the other day and left half of it in a tupperware on my desk. last night he bought a two-pack of those microwave chocolate lava cakes and one was just sitting on the kitchen table, still warm. every single time I ask he just plays dumb and acts confused. at first i thought maybe he just sucked at portion control, but it's too consistent and it's always stuff he knows i like. it's honestly super sweet and has saved me from going to bed hungry or having to cook after a long day multiple times. but it's also getting kinda weird that it's this silent thing lol. like am i supposed to do something nice back? or would that break the unspoken rule of us not acknowledging this is happening? what's the etiquette here.
