My roommate keeps eating food I bought specifically for myself.
By @danasorta · Friends
I'm not talking about shared pantry stuff. I'm talking about snacks and leftovers I buy and put in my own area, and he just helps himself without asking.
The full story
okay so i live with two other guys. we split rent and utilities evenly. we dont really have a system for food, we just sorta buy our own stuff. but one of my roommates keeps eating my food. like, i'll buy a specific brand of chips or a drink that i like, put it in the cabinet, and the next day it's half gone. or i'll have leftovers from dinner, clearly portioned out, and he'll just eat it for lunch. i've tried talking to him about it nicely, like 'hey man, could you ask before you take that?' and he just laughs it off and says 'oh sorry dude, i was hungry'. it's getting expensive and it's really starting to get on my nerves. am i overreacting or what?

@gonnacry — time to start eating his stuff see how he likes it
@benyk — soft.
@hankkindof — Have you sent him a Venmo request for what he ate?
