My roommate and I are in a silent war over a single fork.
By @liamok2 · Petty or Nah
We have plenty of other silverware, but for some reason, we both have a favorite fork. Now it's become a game of who can get to it first after it's been washed, and it's honestly getting out of hand.
The full story
This is so dumb. We have a full set of silverware, probably 8 of every utensil. But there's this one specific fork that's perfectly balanced. It just feels right. At first it was a joke, but now it's a legitimate race. If I see he's unloading the dishwasher, I'll 'casually' walk into the kitchen to grab a drink, just so I can snatch the fork. He does the same. Yesterday, I found it hidden in the coffee mug drawer. We haven't spoken about it, but we both know.
