My husband grew up mowing lawns for money and he's got this whole idea that it builds character. I get it, I really do, but our son has his own summer job as a camp counselor. He's busy! The last thing he wants to do on his day off is yard work, and honestly, the lawn looks kinda raggedy because he rushes through it. I'd rather just pay the $40 and have it look nice and not have to nag anyone about it. My husband says I'm coddling him, but I think he's trying to relive his childhood through our kid.
