My finger slipped and I invited my son's whole class to his birthday party.

It was supposed to be a small party (six kids!) at a trampoline park. I used the class parent group chat to invite the few friends he actually wanted and I must have hit the wrong button.

Now I have texts from parents of 25 kids asking for the details and if younger siblings are welcome. The venue charges per person and I absolutely cannot afford that, not to mention the pure chaos. I feel sick with embarrassment. I have to either backpedal and uninvite 19 kids (and be THAT mom forever) or just drain our savings for a massive party we never wanted. My husband thinks I have to own the mistake and pay for it. I feel like that's a crazy overreaction. What on earth do I do?
