My 10-year-old is trying to pay me for chores in Robux.
By @wes · Family
He genuinely sat me down and made me a business proposal. He wants to hire me to deep clean his room and he's offering what he claims is a 'very competitive' rate in his videogame's currency.
The full story
I tried to explain that I need actual money to pay for things like, you know, the house he lives in. He just nodded seriously and showed me an 'exchange rate' on his tablet that he made up himself. they told me I could use his generous payment to buy a 'cool aura' for my avatar. I don't have an avatar. (And if I did, its aura would be 'Needs Coffee.') I swear I'm raising a tiny, well-meaning con artist. Part of me wants to accept the Robux just to teach him a lesson about economics.
