I think i accidentally conditioned my family's golden retriever to only drink water if i sing the Law & Order theme.

It started as a dumb joke while i was binge-watching and now he just stands there, staring at his full water bowl, then at me, until i do the 'dun dun'. My parents think it's a 'special trick' and show it off to guests.

so yeah. i was watching an svu marathon a few weeks ago and just for fun i sang the 'dun dun' sound when i was filling up his water bowl. he drank. i did it again the next time. and the next. i thought it was nothing. i was wrong. now the dog, a perfectly intelligent animal in every other respect, will not hydrate unless the theme from Law & Order is performed. it's my own personal, extremely stupid curse. am i doomed to be his water DJ forever?
