My friends are all super outdoorsy and planned this intense 8-mile hike for Saturday. I am… not. So I told them my car was making a weird noise and I couldn't make it.

Look, I love my friends, but their idea of a fun weekend is my personal nightmare. I am a professional indoor cat. They were all like 'oh no, that's such a bummer!' while I was happily ordering pizza and starting a new show. The only problem is my one friend offered to have her 'car guy' brother take a look at it for free. Now I either have to confess I'm a lazy liar or invent a phantom car problem that miraculously fixes itself. I'm leaning toward the latter.
