Dating apps would be so much better if they had an 'away' status like AIM.

i just want other people to know that i am not actively looking at my phone or ignoring them. i'm just ~*aWaY fRoM mY cOmPuTeR*~.
The full story
it's not about being too busy or playing games it's about managing expectations. if i'm at work or out with friends i'm not gonna be checking hinge. but the other person just sees that i read their message three hours ago and now they think i've ghosted them when really i'm just living my life. an away message would fix this. a simple little yellow icon that says 'hey i'm not dead just occupied.' it would reduce so much anxiety for everyone involved.
