You kids with your Spotify playlists will never know the pressure of burning the perfect mix CD.

It was a true art form. You had to nail the song order, make sure the vibes flowed, and pray the file you downloaded wasn't a virus.

The full story

Seriously, it was a multi-day project. You'd spend hours on Limewire, praying the songs you downloaded weren't a virus or a completely different song with the same title. Then you had to get the track order JUST right, because you only had one shot to burn it. If you messed up the last song on a 20-track masterpiece, the whole CD was a coaster. The pressure was immense, and the victory of a perfect burn was unmatched. Don't even get me started on the Sharpie art for the case.
